Narrative and Cognition
Abstract
Besides the consciousness industrialization process in which the narrative transformations were inserted during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, there were other changes that were equally momentous, even though they may have not called so much attention. Among them, perhaps the most important is the gradual transfer of the main narrative axis from the text related processes to the audiovisual representation ones. But should not be overlooked either the importance acquired by the exposition mode concept in the narrative phenomenon. At the late twentieth and early twenty-first, these trends have experienced a qualitative leap that implies a new conception of space and time completely different from the one the classic narrative have use for millennia. Keywords
